As far as I can see this is a Native MySQL application on PHP, so it was
dropped from my list to look at very quickly.

It would take a long time to convert, as all the code will need re-writing.

A number of other packages either have Firebird or can be converted to
Firebird. I am working with the TikiPro code, but I can supply a blank
database for the original TikiWiki code. TikiWiki switched from native
PHP to the ADOdb database library a couple of versions back, with the
result that all the ADOdb engines can be easily supported. TikiPro is a
re-write, breaking down the large mass of TikiWiki into separate
loadable modules, with the wiki one of the base ones. It's not
distribution ready, but many of the modules work, and in many cases
those that don't just need a little work - once the bugs are known.

If you want to have a play with either of them, contact me off-list, and
I'll get you started bypassing the installer with a blank database ;)
