Still use a UPS and all depends on what are your settings for those
parameters. If I'm not mistaken, those values are checked when a
transaction commits, or at a page write, or both. You probably will
have to experiment which values that works with your UPS to make sure
that FB has the proper amount of time to stop and write all the pages
to disk, before Windows is totally shutdown by the UPS. And, here
you'll have to have a UPS that will tell the computer that it is
running on batteries and that it will be shutdown in X minutes,
because not all UPS on the market can be monitored by the computer.
Otherwise, it will have the same effect as unplugging the computer,
without a proper shutdown.
