Holy cr*p! Give me the script install any time! It installed so
quickly and smoothly I was convinced something had to be wrong. I've
checked all the directories, startup scripts, users, groups, and
permissions and everything is running fine.
The rpm install (even the first one that ran fine) took longer.
BTW, the failed rpm installation left me with an invalid group file
containing an entry for ':!::' which grpck cleared up so I could try the
script install.
