If you find a solution to this let me know. We have been sticking
with 1.0 because there doesn't seem to be much support for Solaris
SPARC in the current Firebird User Community -- I don't think there
has been a pre-built binary posted for over 2 1/2 years. However,
there does seem to be many current MySQL Solaris users and they do
post binaries. While Firebird is pretty awesome, you may also want
to take a look at the MySQL project. They support several flavors of
Solaris pre-built at standard, max, and debug levels.
