to install?
You might be advised to use the NPTL builds of you are on RH9.
Now the firebird boot script is only accessible by ROOT. The file refers to
"eventually" because I think this is an intended further enhancement of the
security. For the moment, access to this file is not easy to achieve unless
you make it so by handing out your root password.
