insall/update/overwrite the existing build installed via the tar ball
INSTALL script? or do they (notoriously) install to a completely different
directory structure?
I tried the RPM version on my RH9 and they don't work at all. Complained of
wrong architecture i686 Vs i386 .. hmm but noone here has commented on this
so maybe I'm the only one it has affected so far... strange.
(I love the way apache rpm's to one dir structure one minute and then a
minor update later, they update to a completely different place. And yet
again, if you build it yourself you get a third place. Hope FB doesn't go
down this path.)
