I have just found that if I install Firebird SS on Linux, and change the IP
address of the network adapter on the box (we are prep'ing a box to move it
to a collocation facility), that when I boot the computer off that network
(so that the IP addresses won't work on our network), the Firebird service
freezes up.
But when I change the IPs back to the local LAN, it is working fine.
Does anyone know why this is the case?
