With FB running as an application, you'll need to send it a WM_QUIT windows
message. I've got a program (written in Delphi) that controls IB and FB
both as application and service, perhaps you could just 'whip up' a small
command line program to do the job.
Or, run as a service (probably a better idea ;-)
