While Ryan is "following a path not taken by many", I don't think he is
completely off-base. The approach he is taking, while very unusual, is
not completely wrong.

I suspect that the solution to his current problems lies in following
some careful rules with respect to the creation, committing of the SP
and then the use of the SPs.
