I have run into the same problem, but I have found it's worth the effort to
maintain both dialects in a continuing effort to eventually move all my
customers to dialect 3. There are a couple of real gotchas with d3 but the
big int is worth the trouble for me.
Kind Regards,
Kevin

Hi Martijn,
That's correct, but the problem is, we maintain 1 updatescript for
all customers. So, if we use TIMESTAMP in the script, it won't work
for IB customers, and if we use DATE then the TIME part of the data
is gone in FB. That's our main problem for now :-)
Thanks ! Nico
