I'm pretty sure that I installed Super Server. At least that was the RPM
download that I chose for Linux. I'm running RedHat 9 Linux, if that makes
any difference (and I'm not much of a Linux expert, but I have it running
locally).

The only thing I see in the process list is FB_LOCK_MGR showing up on a ps
-ef

root 3497 1 0 01:43 ? 00:00:00 [fb_lock_mgr]
root 10852 3448 0 07:52 pts/0 00:00:00 grep fb
