Greetings All,
I have a question for the firebird elite. I'm currently checking out
firebird to use with a web app I'm trying to sell. My question
relates to auto-deployment. I'm aware of the merge modules available
for firebird to use with installers.. but what I need to know is,
how could that merge module be used in conjunction with setting up a
predefined table structure, with some data, into firebird server is
installed by instlaler?
Or is this more of an external matter, seperate from the installer,
where you'd have the user import a script to create the tables/data?
Basically, totally new to firebird and want to know if there's a way
to automate the creation of db/tables/data in addition to just
installing the server.
