Are you sure you are not connected to the DB anywhere else (or in any other
application). I have it once where the DB admin app I was using actually had
two connections to the DB that it didn't tell me about.

If you can, e.g. no other DB users on the server, try restarting the service
and try again... Sure to kill any other connections.
