It might be worth looking at the rFunc file, and see if it has any
dependencies on system libraries, but since SP4 broke a lot of perfectly
stable applications it does not surprise me. Anybody actually using
rFunc with SP4?

There was a problem with Events and SP4, but since our test machines all
failed to run simple RAS applications after SP4 was installed there has
been no further attempt to change - had to wipe the machines and
reinstall windows to SP3 to get them working again!
