Ah... it really turned out to be a client-lib issue. Although I still don't
understand why MY box works. I have the same gds32.dll and fbclient.dll
as the other boxen. We all have Firebird-1.5.0 Release Candidate 4.
And on the server runs 1.5.0.4290. The Windows-Clients need
Firebird-1.5.0-4306... other versions don't seem to work.
I just found this out by a coincident...
It's all kind of confusing.
