There was a discussion on this forum some time ago about forced writes. I
think the conclusion was that the only OS that didn't have to use Forced
Writes was some version of UNIX, AIX maybe.

I wouldn't trust any of the MS OS's enough to not use forced writes, even
on NT Server. Even if I was working in the US or the EU.
