I kept getting those messages when I was using IBx-components in
Delphi to access Firebird. This used to work fine and easy, but
transliteration didn't work.
Since I am using connections via ODBC/ADO (firebird ODBC-Driver by
IBPhoenix) all German transliterations work fine without error.
Maybe you are also using a wrong pair of components?
