Hi,
for a sweep if you keep your transactions short and the transaction
counters moving forward.
If you do lots of inserts/updates, it might be useful to "rebuild" your
indices once in a while.
If your datafiles are very fragmented, a backup-restore cycle might
be useful.
But that's about it. At least, in my book ;-)
