thing since sliced bread, you will not regret it, although you may well
find it frustrating at times.
I am not sure if you read my comments about changing from IB6 to FB1.5. I
have written and support a product that has over 1000 installations world
wide, running on IB. It has been distributed for about 4 years now. The
reason I chose IB was because of it's robustness - all of the users are
small operations that cannot afford a DBA or Systems Administrator.
I have NEVER had a complaint about IB/FB. Not about db corruption or
anything like that. It is extremely stable, especially when I compare it to
systems like MSSQL. Sure, all of the applications (in this case) are small
- single user systems, with maybe a few hundred meg as the largest DB size.
But it just doesn't break ... almost no matter how stupid the users are.

Tim
