well, it's not the same i think.
using the service_mgr i'm asking a remote server to perform a backup so if
the communication protocol between 1.5 tools and 1.0 servers it's the same
(or backward compatible) there should be no problem.
I'm not mixing up dlls; every piece of software involved uses it's
preferred dlls.
Probably the protocol is not compatible but, if this is the case, i think
that the 1.5 tool could perform a version check before melting the poor old
server... and maybe there's an evident warning in some part of the docs
that i've missed.
