Hello!
And, to be sure, please check - is any gds32.dll in system path
(Windows\System32) that can be loaded before you run gbak.exe (for example,
you may run some application that use this old gds32.dll and can load it
before you use gbak.exe).
Old client lib (gds32.dll from FB1.0, IB6.0 and so on) cannot connect to
FB1.5 using local protocol.
I have seen gbak errors similar to your many times - and always it was
mismatch of versions of client and server.
So please check twice (just search all disks) - is any old gds32.dll there?
Eliminate them except the one (only the one client dll from FB1.5 should be
there) and try again.
Please post feedback here.
Sincerely yours,
Alexey Kovyazin
