I'm just puzzled where the big difference is between
FB via TCP/IP and FB embedded behaviors and
what I can possibly do about it

| Not absolutely sure, but, I've had better luck making sure that each
thread
| has it's own database connection. Don't know if this is fixed for later
| versions of IB/FB.
