Hi All
Can we get absolute clarity on this one - how safe is Firebird in the case
of power outage !?

Hi guys,
I found two messages in the Firebird support group written by Ann W.
Harrison in response to a question about possible corruption of Firebird
database, which explains in detail the inner workings of the way Firebird
writes records to disk, which, it seems, makes Firebird rather immune to
database corruption due to power outages.
I monitor the group on news.atkin.com (but I understand it is one of Yahoo
groups - Johan has been posting interesting articles from there) in the
egroups.ib-support, and the thread was started by Jonathan Neve on March
31st 2004. I was a relief to read the post, after Jack T. couldn't find a
strait answer to the question of logs.
