Wow, then i'm missing something here.

Could you give the statistics info from index DELDATE ?
You can retrieve it for example with :
gstat.exe <database-filename> -i -username sysdba -password masterkey -t
MOV_ORDERS -t MOV_ORDERS_POSITIONS
