Thanky you, Alan, for being patient with me!
fbclient.dll. I made a copy of the IB gds32.dll in advance.
I have never installed previous versions of FB. The release note says that
one of their goal is to provide such an environment where we can run
multiple FBservers simultaneously. That's why they stop putting client.dll
into System32.
As for the port, I've never thought about it. Do IB and FB1.5 use the same
port number as default?
Currently I'm testing on a standalone (local) machine.
More basically, does gbak work independently or need client.dll or server
service?
