After 2080 selects exactly, DBXpress fails on FB. The failure happens down in Borland's DLL, so I can't get more specific. It doesn't happen with DB2, so it's really something in the interbase connectivity dll for dbXpress.
This does not happen with other connectivity options I have tried, but IBXpress has a memory leak.
I just got to the point in hammering Delphi connectivity options that I decided to shift my entire project to J2EE and jaybird. I'm a long time Delphi fan, but Borland doesn't support their own API very well.

What kind of problems I may have with Borland's IB driver for dbExpress
acessing FB 1.5?
Should I think about using a third party like Upscene's?
I'm asking this because yesterday I deployed my first FB 1.5
installation and got two strange errors I have never had before.
