Thanks Folks:

I don't believe I received an include directory with
Firebird-1.5.0.4290_embed_win32.zip.

I expanded the new final build into a directory.
This is what was in it:

<DIR> doc

<DIR> intl

<DIR> udf

124 aliases.conf

1,515,598 fbembed.dll

18,044 firebird.conf

132,796 firebird.msg

24,576 ib_util.dll

24,405 IPLicense.txt

4,078 readme.txt

421,072 ReleaseNotes.pdf

Sorry about double spacing, but the last time I
used Yahoo groups that was the only way to prevent
lines from being jammed together. Is there another
way to force newlines? I believe my indentation
will also be lost, anyway to preserve it?

The files referenced in the "Installing Embedded
server from a zip kit" section of the release notes
are present, but I find no "include" directory in
the release zip file.

A full system search indicates that there is no
"ibase.h" on my computer.

Is there an additional file developers need to
download?

I've been told there is another Yahoo Group
called "groups.yahoo.com/group/Firebird-general".
Is this the group for newbie questions like mine or
should I go to the Firebird-general group?

Thanks
Larry
