Hi,
There must be a long period of time between the port being deprecated
and its being dropped. Maybe two years or so, because existing apps
should be adapted OR the server configuration changed - and if
everybody changes their server conf back to port 3050 because the
majority of the apps still needs it that way, it's pointless changing
the default port at all.
So for the time being you will have to change the Firebird port in
your installations. And maybe forever... but I don't hope so.
