Firebird real early on was ported to WinCE, it was an 'Alpha' level
project, worked well enough for the original ported but now seem to be
dead. I forget where it's at, but an google search or look at firebird
home page or ip phoenix's page should give you a link to that project.
I don't think since it was alpha software that it was ever provided as
an install, be prepared to compile it.
As for the fbembed.dll... Obviously since it came about post the above
project, you'd have your work cut out to port it. I don't have the
tools to help, but I have an iPAQ (Pocket PC 2002) I'd be happy to help
test it on.
