If someone needs to user iptables and is not a Linux expert, I suggest
using the Shorewall firewall (http://www.shorewall.net/). Even though
it is does not have a GUI interface, it is by far the easiest firewall
configuration tool I have ever used (including some with GUIs).
The site has a "Quotes from users section" that reflects that my
opinion of it is shared by others.
