Hi Sandy,
Our company makes extensive use of firebird in our applications and
both our Client and Server installations are totally silent as to the
presence of the Firebird installation.
This is achieved by using the merge modules provided for Windows
Installers by MWA Software free of charge. You can obtain these
modules at.

We are currently using Installshield Express to build our
installations, but you will be able to use any installation program
which caters for the use of Merge Modules. I have no information on
Nullsoft installer (NSIS) and cannot comment on how to use it.
