I'll check. This is my server installed on a client network. The IT
people don't want to bother with it - I am just providing an
application for them to use.

Yes. It may not be important but the clients access the application
using Terminal Services running on the same server (Yes I know it's
not the ideal setup). They use a remote connection to Firebird.

The application does use events. I'll explore that one.

Yes I did check through the notes but nothing rings alarms.
