Alan,
it could thrash inclusive the embedded server memory and this could
lead
to db corruption.
It's not guilt of Firebird, it's the consequence of the use of a dll.
If it's not
a db server but a mp3 encoder the net result will be the same:
encoder's
memory thrashed and possibly a corrupted mp3 file.
