Stability and security. We have a few very important databases which may
not be touched by the "regular joe developer". They must not be shut
down for testing or something. All "simple" databases are running on a
different FB instance where the developers have full access.
You may concider it a "Production vs. Development" model.
Also we have one app which seems to crash FB sometimes - that must of
course never crash our "important" databases.

You might argue "just use two different server machines". Yes, of course
thats right, but our current environment does not allow that currently.
And the one server we are using, does not knwo what to do with all the
availble CPU cycles ;-)
