I use IBOConsole every day and I have never had problems with it. I suspect
you have the wrong msg file installed and the error shown is not correct
because of that. Did you uninstall the interbase client and server
completely? Look for copies of firebird.msg and gds32.dll and delete them
first (and all their friends) before you install firebird 1.5. I also find
it helps to select the 'copy gds32 to windows system directory' option
during installation.
