It depends on corruption type. If you have corrupted BLR of some obkject it
may
migrate to new restored database, because BLR is not compiled during b/r.
And "wrong page type" corruptions usually not survive after backup/restore.

Run gfix -v -full and see information in firebird.log.

Also you can check database with free IBFirstAID Diagnostician tool
(www.ibfirstaid.com)
and check log for physical level errors.
