Yeah OmniHTTPd is great for this use. I have the exact same setup as you
describe and it works awesome. I use OmniHTTPd for testing but IIS for
production. Here is the link to their site, http://www.omnicron.ca/. It's
free and easy to configure, so good luck! Todd.

Subject: [firebird-support] Web server on XP home?
(A bit off topic - but maybe you can help.)
I have a laptop I am going to use for a demonstration. However, I would like
to demonstrate a web application developed using Delphi which uses Firebird
as its database.
The laptop only has Windows XP home on it, which does not come with IIS (you
need XP Pro). Does anyone know of any web servers that I can install that
would work on XP home?
Thanks,
Stephen
