Sorry for not being clearer but I assumed you were the only one in the db
when you were attempting to add constraints. I believe if any index of the
table in question is in use you will be unable to add constraints. I have
only been successful in adding constraints when I was the only user in the
db, and no indices were in use (ie. No open transactions). Todd.

I tryied this way but without success and the same error message...
The database is located remotely (not local)... there are many users using
this table at this moment.. can this be the cause of my problem?
