Yes, the data access components are incompatible. But the service
components are fine - just use a separate TIBODatabase component to connect
to from the IBX service comps.

However, there is an IBO version of the components available, by L .
Mengoni., IBOAdmin. Download from www.mengoni.it. You can also download,
from the Files list of the IBO users' list site
(www.yahoogroups.com/community/ibobjects) some dead-simple demo projects I
did for someone, one using the IBX version and one the IBOAdmin
version. (You need to be logged in at the list site to get at the files).

And more... the mengoni version of IBOAdmin is for Delphi is for Delphi
6. Mark Pickersgill did a Delphi 5 version, in case you need that. It's
at http://www.ibobjects.com/ibocontributed.html (no login needed).
