I have all of the DDL in CVS. The hard part is that there are several
layers of views and stored procedures, so I'd have to recreate
everything.
Hence the hope for a shortcut :-)
Any chance this could make it in to a later version of FB (with a single
user connection, of course). I didn't see anything in the roadmap about
it.

It would be neater to extract the view definition, delete the
view, and recreate it later. But of course, you'll have dependencies
on the view. the problem with modifying RDB$RELATION_FIELDS is
that getting the value back correctly is tricky.
