Thanks for the quick reply Myles. Sorry I wasn't clear enough in my original email, they want the FB database to be resident on the Novell Server (which has its own OS I think).

Can't you run TCP/IP over Novell? We have a client that does this and
allows us to run a Win32 TCP/IP application on Novell. Seems to work ok,
although there is a performance degredation that I've noticed.
