pointer page #839, which is pointing to three non-existent pages. But I
have serious fears about the state of your hard disk. It looks like a
problem for Ann Harrison.
the pointer page could be pointing to an area of disk that has been
physically damaged, e.g. by a power surge, or by the disk being in a dying
state.
but I'm not the one with the ability to reconstruct/retrieve anything that
exhibits "past end of file" messages. Contact Ann (see

kind of task.
