THANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKS :)
Q:\FirebirdTools\bin>gbak -c e:\cldb\clientel_db.bck
e:\cldb\clientel_neu_db.gdb -se 127.0.0.1:service_mgr -v -user
xxxxx -passw yyyyyyyyy
..............
WORKS NOW !!!!!!
A BIG STONE IS FALLING DOWN FROM ME :)
But why this error exists?
On this Win20003 Server "local" connections don't work.
-IBExpert connect with "local" connection fails, with "remote" and
127.0.0.1 it works!
-gbak without the switch "-se 127.0.0.1:service_mgr" fails,
but with the switch it works, mhm
Many thanks to Helen and Alexander and all others for helping here,
without you all i am lost in space
best regards
Gerhard
(ps: normally i am only a reader in the firebird-devel-group, but this
error was so substantial for me, that i posted this there. sorry,
but i also think there is a bug now with winserver 2003)
