Borland's Interbase connector - original DLL shipped with Delphi 6 with no service patches or upgrades.

I am 95% sure it is the DBExpress component - the return code from the DLL is -1.

I have some research and possible refactoring to do.

Question to ask: Is it the DBXpress component set or the driver?

Which driver are you using to connect to Firebird?
