The polls are closed at linuxquestions.org.
In 2002, Firebird wasn't even on the ballot:

Nor was Firebird on the ballot this year, when the competition started,
and was added only by Firebird users' request. Yet it came in second,
losing first by only 2 votes out of the 1111 cast. It beat out last year's
winner by a considerable margin. Now that's impressive:
