Actually, it hasn't been demonstrated to occur under Linux at all. All
things being equal, SMP should work properly on 1.0 and 1.5 SS for Linux.

No, it only works for Windows. The misleading note in the 1.5 draft
release notes was mine - apologies.

It doesn't address it at all. If you want multiple processor affinity on
Windows, you have to use Classic.
