Yes and no !
If you just want to restore the ENTIRE database yes... you should just
restore at the other server (use -t option of gbak to make a transportable
backup)...
if you want to MERGE the databases then NO!!! you should use a replication
engine (see IBReplicator at ibphoenix site)
