Subject AW: [firebird-support] Access 2000 to Firebird
Author Thomas Rüger
Hi Daniel,

thanks for fast answer, you're right.

I've done it and evereything works.

Now i have the problem, that my vb 6 is reading the databases via dll from
javier.

But in my records i have some characters < > (lower than, greater than).

I could read the table, get the records, but transfering the recordset (xml)
into a xml (clsdataprovider from javier) i get an error.

But that's a question for javier. i posted the question on sourceforge.net
for him.

So thanks to all and cu

Thomas

Make sure that you use Unicode when connecting to your Firebird
database, just defining it in the database isn't enough.
