thank you for your support, but I've had no luck.

I have copied fbintl.dll into gdsintl.dll
I have copied gdsintl2.dll into fbintl2.dll

So now I have these four dll's in the intl folder, but the error is
the same. I have seen on Dave's web site that a fix is in progress. I
hope it will arrive soon, otherwise I'll have to revert back to 1.03
:-( loosing some interesting news, such as aliases.

I have to say that I have all the scripts (DDL and DML) for the
databases and I could recreate them under RC5, but I need Dave's
collation drivers that I suspect to not work under RC5 even if I
recreate the databases.
