Maybe such a question is considered OT here, but I will answer it anyway.  You don't say what programming language you use, but whatever the language, you will need to import functions from GDS32. Then use isc_service_attach(), isc_service_start() and isc_service_detach. This is documented in the Interbase API guide, which is available in an online (PDF) version.  In the Interbase 6 docs, the relevant section starts on page 200.
